Representatives of the City municipality of Stari grad will hold a one-day round table with students/ young people in the Municipality Service Center.
Within this activity, young people will be introduced to the importance of the concept of local democracy, as well as the instruments of initiating and participating in specific local initiatives, in participatory budgeting, decision-making by local authorities, etc.
This event will also be an introduction to the activity that will follow and will be carried out during November. Namely, primary and secondary school students from the territory of the City Municipality of Stari grad will get the opportunity to take part in the participatory budget. During this activity the proposals of both parties how best to involve citizens in solving current issues and raise awareness of way of working of local self-government will be presented.
