On 21.10.2021. starting at 11 a.m., an action of cleaning and remediation of the illegal landfill (garbage dump) in the village of Prekonoga was carried out. The organizer of this action is the association Eco Future, and the action was joined and participated by the associations Green Key from Nis, PLK Svarog Svrljig, ATV Club Svrljig, Center for Culture, Tourism and Sports, JKSP Svrljig as well as volunteers. The donor of funds is the municipality of Svrljig.
All collected waste that is recyclable (glass and plastic) will be sent for recycling.
Such actions are of great importance for the environment because illegal dumps not only ruin the image of the landscape but also have an extremely unfavorable effect on the environment, affect the increase in the number of rodents and cause soil pollution.
