Science Workshop With Kids

With this event, we aimed not only to support children’s scientific thinking skills such as researching, observing, asking questions, and problem-solving, but also to encourage them to become active individuals in social life. Being a part of scientific work not only provided children with knowledge but also offered them the opportunity to experience the culture of thinking together, sharing, and making decisions collectively. Supporting children’s development as participatory individuals from an early age is crucial for the sustainability of local democracy. Our Science Workshop has been a valuable step in strengthening children’s curiosity and their ability to create together, thus fostering sensitivity towards local decision-making processes.
