The Our Hearts Are Filled with Kindness Project

Kadıköy Municipality launched the “Our Hearts Are Filled with Kindness” project with AYİDER to promote solidarity and citizen participation. Residents collect plastic bottle caps for recycling, and proceeds are donated to the Turkish Spinal Cord Injury Association (TOFD) to provide electric wheelchairs for people in need. By combining environmental awareness and social responsibility, the project turns small acts into collective kindness, empowering citizens and supporting inclusive local democracy in Kadıköy.
