European Mobility Week

Konak Municipality promoted European Local Democracy Week not only during the week following 15 October 2021 but throughout all of its activities related to Europe in 2021. For this reason, activities regarding European Local Democracy Week were carried out in conjunction with all other activities. To this end, during our activities European Mobility Week between 16-22 September, we promoted European Local Democracy Week and this year’s theme of “Protecting environment: local communities take action”. On 22 September 2021, a street in Konak was closed to vehicle traffic and various sports activities were organised to call attention to environmental concerns.
