What Borders do we need? Ethics and politics of migration

Politics is still struggling with a reformation of the asylum system. Meanwhile the public discussion is often dominated by slogans, false claims and false solutions. In this conversation Gerald Knaus, an Austrian sociologist and migration researcher, and Matthias Hoesch, a German philosopher and migration ethicist, discuss which ethic principles have to be taken into account in migration politics and how humane borders can be possible in reality. This event is a cooperation between the Vhs Chemnitz, the Vhs Esslingen and SüdOst within the Munich district.
