It is aimed at all young people, residents or students in the municipality, between the ages of 16 and 30 in 2021.Natura Observa has the following objectives: foster volunteerism and education for sustainable development; provide a service to the community and promote the defense of the natural heritage of the municipality of Cascais.
The program is generally made up of five projects: Germina - project aims to support work on the Autochthonous Plant Genetic Bank; Javali - aims at forest management, supporting the regeneration of natural vegetation and reducing the risk of fire; Gavião aims to support visitation to the Quinta do Pisão and Duna da Cresmina; River Guards aims to monitor the watercourse and its banks and Raposa - consists in the installation of signage and monitoring of the four small routes and the major route of the PNSC within a georeferencing system.
