Regeneration and valorisation of 6 hectares of green areas | Pine and olive groves | Rehabilitation of water courses | Leisure and sports areas

The first phase of the Quinta da Carreira Urban Park aims at the conservation and recuperation of the existing trees; the creation of accesses and footpaths; the installation of a clearing area with lawn and meadow; the installation of a technical area for outdoor events, futvoley courts and also a dog park. This intervention also makes it possible to reuse the heritage of the old Quinta da Carreira, with its ancestral structure of paths, as well as valorise the stretch of the Ribeira de Bicesse and enhance the existing trees. In this way, the space will be returned to the residents with much better conditions for its use.
