Environmental campaign "Greening of the Planet" was held in Kharkiv, involving state and local officials, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions and enthusiastic citizens. Greenspace expansion is one of priorities for Kharkiv City Council and this initiative was launched to engage Kharkovites of different groups and ages to such an important activity. The project was implemented together with the Charitable Foundation "Greening of Ukraine", Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine to protect and improve eco-environment.
