Nišava - Sustainable Future of the River Exhibition Marking EU Green Week 2021

Niš is a city on the Nišava River and in recent years has shown initiative towards the modernization of the wastewater management system and the construction of infrastructure capacities. In this way the City of Niš wants to improve the quality of life of its residents and create a healthier environment. Wastewater management is also key to a better and more successful economy. This exhibition brings on twenty exhibition panels the story of the life of the city, its inhabitants and the Nišava River throughout history and today. A special segment refers to the future and the importance that the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Niš with a sewage system will have. The exhibition "Nisava - Sustainable Future of the River" is part of the EU Green Week 2012 and it is organized by Embassy of Sweden in Serbia and City of Niš Local Economic Development Office.
