Winning Environmental Card

With the Environmentally Friendly Neighbor Card, the Muratpa?a Municipality's card that now makes you win while shopping, the residents of the district, who do not throw away qualified wastes consisting of glass, paper, plastic and metal, earned 143 thousand liras in September alone. With the project implemented since April 2016, more than 5.5 million liras have been loaded onto the cards of Muratpa?a residents. The Environmentalist Neighbor Card, Turkey's only award-winning recycling project of Muratpa?a Municipality, was put into practice in pilot neighborhoods in April 2016. With the project, which was implemented with the motto of "Don't throw, save, let's win", the residents of the district, who sorted the qualified wastes consisting of glass, paper, plastic and metal at home and delivered them to the Environmental Neighbor Card teams, who passed by the door at a certain day and time, started to earn points for lira. While Muratpa?a Municipality created an unprecedented financial resource for the home economy with the project, the Environmentally Friendly Neighbor Card also gained the 'money card' feature this year. With the cards that can be used wherever there is a credit card POS device, Muratpa?a residents can make their payments either in the market or in online shopping with the Environmentally Friendly Neighbor Card.
