«Nurturing the common good: TOGETHER FOR SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT»

In collaboration with public organisation «Association of Alumni of the Ukrainian Catholic University» with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Ukraine in the fall of 2021, the International Public Forum «Ecumenical Social Week» was held in Lviv. The topic of the forum «Nurturing the common good: TOGETHER FOR SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT» covered many topical environmental issues. The forum drew public attention to the importance of personal responsibility for environmental protection, development of a fairer world, inclusive environment; established cooperation and exchange of experiences between the community, business, environmentalists, lawyers, religious organizations, educators, media, public sector and youth; conducted an educational campaign in society. This online-event united near 1000 partipants from Ukraine and from abroad. The idea of holding such forums belongs to public organisation «Association of Alumni of the Ukrainian Catholic University». Lviv City Council consistently provides financial and informational support to these events.
